Product Description
The Oakley Gas Can polarized sunglasses are built to stare down the competition. Tough, lightweight O Matter frames will take the abuse of rough days on the track without flinching. Optically correct XYZ lenses ensure you'll stay focused on your opponents. Polarization reduces the glare of asphalt and water, so you don't miss a moment of the action. The Gas Can exceeds ANSI standards for impact resistance, and the Plutonite lenses block all the harmful UV rays that could slow you down.

I have been buying oakley sunglasses for about 6 years now. This is the 3rd pair I have bought, and they continue to impress me. These are by far the best pair I have bought for my active lifestyle. They dont have any rubber gripping on them or any small crevices which generally make the lenses more difficult to keep clean. These are excellent for someone who spends alot of time outdoors. just make sure you dont have a big head, as they can pinch your head like they do mine due to the think plastic not being very flexible.

Nice glasses overall. i find that the flat black frame tends to show fingerprints and other marks where body oils darken the flat black surface of the frame, this is easily corrected by wiping down the frame. I tend to get some reflection from the rear but not so much as to adversly affect my forward perception. Don't know how they will react to wind when riding the motorcycle yet but since they don't wrap very thightly to the face I suspect that they will have some movement while at highway speed.
Nice styling. Dark lense. Comfortable. Little distortion at the bottom of the lense.

I got this product. When I close or open, it makes creaking noise. Little hard to open and close too. I dont know if Manufacturer (Oakley) fault or the distributor's fault. Not going to buy online again

These glasses came as advertised and on time. They fit my 8 1/4 size head. The lens coverage is also excellent and they stay in place for sporting activity. The interchangeable lens system also lets you use the glasses in different lighting environments (other lens sold separately)

These sunglasses have been great. I ordered the "Jet Black Frame/Black Lens" and it came with Black Iridium lenses. Here's Oakely's description of the Black Iridium lenses:
Extremely bright light. Excellent all-purpose lens for sunny conditions. Offers truer color perception. Features an Iridium coating to reduce glare.
I normally wouldn't spend this much on glasses but I haven't lost a pair in a long time so I got these. They provide great sun coverage and also don't block too much light when the sun goes down. They fit great and are very light but built very well.

I have to say, there's a big difference between my non polarized Ray-Ban's and these polarized Oakleys. The "image" quality when looking through the glasses is excellent, not blurry or overly dark, and as shown on the Oakley website, what you see with your naked eye is what you see behind the glasses. Meaning, things keep their proportions and scale, things won't appear closer then they are, bigger or smaller then they are.
The polarization is also a must when driving. I thought driving with normal sun glasses was comfortable, when wearing the polarized glasses, it's just great! No glare from the annoying guys with the reflective window tints, no piercing rays of sun from the overly polished and shiny cars.
Plus the shading is just enough so that it doesn't make your sight so dark that you can't see when going into your house with your grocery bags and no hands to take of the shades. Style is quite nice too. The arms are thin yet fit snugly to your face. the... Read more

I just had successful LASIC on both eyes (better than 20/20 now) and needed good sunglasses. My son-in-law uses these and is a helo pilot in the Army. That's good enough for me! I've had mine for several days and I think I've made a very good choise.

When I ordered these sunglasses, I expected a light weight pair of sun glasses that would require special care in storing, much like my special yellow-tint computer glasses. When they arrived, however, I was pleasantly surprised to discover they were sturdier than I expected. They have enough weight to feel solid in the hand. They also provide enough grip behind the ears that I am confident they are not going to fall off. The level of tint is also good, since Oakley rates the Iridium Polarized lenses as being among their darkest.
